I concur as this is precisely what happened to me on a 1+ upgrade from
Anderson.  Search the archives on the Yahoo site under Rundeep_32 for
more info.

Just a thought but did you check the sockets' soldering points on the
ecu?
These could develop cold solder joints (cracks) that would produce
weirdo
intermittent problems.  i.e. everything works when contact is completed,
but
cuts out when heat cycled or bumped.
