I've been running Silverstars for a couple of years and like the results.  I 
also cleaned the headlight assemblies and added relays which I'm sure also 
help the situation.  Another step is I'm running the high-beam bulbs (higher 
wattage than the lo beams bulbs) in the lo beam sockets.  A little Dremel 
work allows them to fit.  My opinion is that they are way brighter than 
stock.  Evey time I drive another car at night I feel half blind.  I think 
the life of the Silverstars is shorter.  Maybe half that of the stock bulb. 
The standard price seems to be $25 each.  By keeping my eyes open I can 
usually find them for $20.  I'm thinking of trying a set of HIR bulbs 
sometime soon.  They're supposed to be even brighter.
