the avant has a "USA Triathlon" sticker on it and we frequently
carry a couple of bikes inside it for training and racing. also,
when we go to the races, i point out to her that there are a lot of
station wagons there with young guys driving them. but she still
hasn't changed her mind. maybe i need to get some bling for the avant.
tinted windows, 18" wheels, lowering springs?
i've found that kbb.com isn't very realistic when it comes to cars
like this. over the years, i haven't had any luck finding cars at
the prices given by kbb.com. for example, it claims that a '91 M5 with
100k miles is worth $9k private party. i've never seen one at that
price that wasn't beat up and in need of serious work, or didn't have
150k+ miles.
i didn't find any '92s on autotrader, but the '93s are generally being
listed for more (often quite a bit more) than kbb.com says they're worth.
