[s-cars] Dual Mass Flywheel Question

I'm preparing to have a shop do a clutch for me, I'm going OEM (Luk) and
I have a question about the flywheel.
I picked up a used flywheel from a local lister (thanks, Gabriel) that
was newly resurfaced.
With the dual mass flywheel, the two halfs can rotate back and forth
slightly, I've heard this to absorb drivetrain shock and vibration when
engaging / disengaging.
One thing I'm not sure about is that I can rotate the 2 halfs back and
forth about 5 degrees which seems like a lot to me. This works out to
about 1.75 inches when measured around the perimeter.
When the clutch is engaged, will this movement cause drivetrain slop?
Would a new flywheel be any different?
Thanks,
