Random Monday thoughts-

So 2/06 makes 4 years / ~ 80k I've had the UrS, then @ ~ 160k.  Been a
wild ride, how all this CT insanery really got started.  Anywho...
currently the booster and 2 rear facing kiddieseats 'fit', but barely.
Soon as the girls face forward - Houston we got a problem.  Problem
worsened by wife not driving stick (not well enough to trust with a Spec
clutched LWFW car to boot), so can't just swap cars when needed.

Reality settling in, and, I've got clearanceClarence from the Tower to
*hopefully* (read: still need to fund somehow but the concept is green
lit) pursue a replacement.  Hmmmm.  Green lit contenders include ~
'00-'01 //S8 or ~ '00-01 E39 ///M5.  Note I will retain der Ur4kqpos for
winter duty, tho the E39 route may be a tough sell as it doesn't buy me
any more size and is still a stick.  

Question for Listwisdom here is...  anyone here know anything about
these 2 cars in these years???  Common failures, things to look for,
avoid, etc.???  I'm beginning my research now to troll for summer '06.
Please save me the blahblahblah gotta be an Audi schtick, as, I don't
care.  I *loved* the 50(WOT)k I put on my E28 ///M5 and would rather
enjoy another.  But the //S8 is sooo ubersexy ubercool.  Figuring either
can hopefully be had @ 60k for ~ $25-29k, tho the BMW may trend to the
higher end and the Audi due to prevailing market demand for one and lack
thereof for the other.  

Bueller???

So, any potentially interested idiots out here keep mine in mind come
summer.  Green / black '95 ~ 160k by then, 40k on CMG 6 spd / SPEC Stage
2.5 / LWFW Mihnea tuned K24 big reds carbon fiber C5 Avus blah blah blah
etc. etc. etc.  Will sadly have to go.

Other humorous thoughts that will likely tear your eye...  (uh,
sorry!)...

Just hung up with client with //SFest '04 Ferrari entourage.  The '99
F355 Fiorano Spider was traded in over the Turkey weekend for

NOICE!  Hey fresh //SFest meat, added bonus.  Stay looneytooned.  I'd
guess my whoop session will have to wait for spring.  I can live with
that heh heh.  Man, 8,500 redlined 4.3L V8 Italian screamer.  Despite
his Tubi'd F355 and F550M, he simply described the F430's sound as
"ABSURD".
