Thanks, Fred.  Yeah, after opening the hood on the S6, I see what you mean.
It's as easy as on my 100S Avant.  I'm glad that the 80q is actually as hard
as it looks - I was worried I was being a complete idiot.  (Here come the
comments, LOL)

And good tip on the fuel pressure - I should have thought of that!

BTW, it's not 400k miles on my Audi stable - it's closer to 500k.
