Hey guys I am currently in the middle of the timing
belt service on my 94 s4. I was following jimmy
pribbles guide and got to the point where I needed to
take off the cam pulley by loosing its bolt. He said
he used a pin wrench, in the pictures it looks like he
is talking about a spanner? Since the one blau
provided didn't seem to do the trick, my question is
this is it safe to move the crank 180 deg off TDC to
install the crank lock, so said items dont move,
loosen the cam pulley bolt just enough so I can get it
off more easily, un-install crank lock and finally
re-rotate the crank and all that rotates with it to
TDC. This sound sane to everybody else? Need some
thoughts. Thanks.

Cheers,
Brian
