[s-cars] will a concert I work in 93 S4?

The frame of the console is different. Try looking up 1996 or 1997 S6/A6
model years.
 To paraphase myself:
Getting the Concert I to physically fit into the dash is the just the tip of
the iceberg. The wiring is very different between the Gala and the Delta
radios.
 As an aside, I saw a CAN bus emulator on ebay that allows the Concert II to
be installed into the earlier cars. I'm curous, but my wife is a big fan of
books on tape, and every CD I own is on the Phatbox now. Anyone feel like
investing and investigating?

That's what I was thinking, but ETKA shows no difference between the S4,
early S6, and later S6 models as far as I can see (it's always possible
I haven't found the right place to look in ETKA however). I was sure I
could remember a difference from the last S6 I looked at. I figure
there's probably a small trim piece to replace the lighter and allow the
extra room for the increased length of the Concert head unit. I intend
to take a look at a local S6 as soon as I get around to it to figure out
exactly what I need as far as parts go.
