checked codes via Vag-Com, no codes other than this AC sensor (29.4), Mech. reminded me that the AC was disconnected and the code has been there and will be untill I fix AC. good news!
No codes for any other sensors/motors/flaps in the heating/cooling system, still dumbfounded as to reason for buttons to ramdomly not work on CC unit. blame the Unit itself is the advice given, will look into that after diner.
While checking for codes, found some blue smoke from tail pipe, not alot but enough to be noticable at idle and while reving engine, would come and go. Mech. said turbo engines are a PITA to find why they are burning oil, thought first culprit possibly turbo, other wise valve seals or pistons.
is there a common reason/place AANs burn oil?
looking for serious advice here.
currently I add 0.5-1 quart of oil at 1500-2000 miles
can see some smoke under full boost in second, looks blue, and today was the first time to see smoke at idle, pretty much only came out when engine was reved.
muchos gracias
Forrest
