Hello Robert,
I've done the WG screw mod and have experimented with this but when I had
the Motronic setup, I remember, that scroll down the screw with the max.
possible turns got me +0.1BAR of boost - and that was with the original
chipsets (so - 2.3 overboost). With the MBC , it was 2.5BAR max.
The question was, what AAN rs2'ed guys do for having 2.8BAR absolute(1.8
relative turbo boost )? Does the software and 3BAR MAP sensor change (not
to mention all the other rs2 bits) will give one these boost numbers? I've
heard that real Audi RS2 WG spring is stiffer than found in ABY/AAN setups.

Stiffening the WG spring might help. Drill a small hole dead center in the
plug in the center of the WG cap and use a sharp object (a nail perhaps) to
pop the plug out. Discard it. The plug is < 1 mm thick so don't go
drilling for oil ;-). Now use a 5(?) mm Allen wrench to screw the newly
exposed screw into the WG. Some are lock-tighted in place and may require
heat from a propane torch to soften the stuff enough to screw the bolt
in. Keep track of how many turns you use so you can put it back later if
you want to. Optimal for my car turned out to be about 4 turns. Others
report anywhere from 3 to 6 turns as optimal for their cars.
