[s-cars] Ball bearing turbo

Having pulled a GT30R off of my car, and installed a 3071 immediately afterwards, I can tell you that the 3071 hits way faster than the regular 30... making full boost before 3k rpm at higher altitudes. I was using a .63 turbine on both. If there's any interest, I have a GT3071R that I will not be using, as I removed it after 2000 miles to reinstall the GT30R. It is full Garrett, however, and does not have a KKK turbine section.

Yeah, the GT3071R would have been my choice had it been around when I did my hybrid. The curves look very nice, and I would suspect it would pick up faster than the GT30R that I have now.

The upside with the GT30R is an unlimited amount of boost to redline.

I may try to part with my hybrid to explore the 3071.
