Those heat rest guides are held in place by a catch that you
have to push in and up FROM THE TRUNK. You have to pull the
trunk liner away from behind the seat to see the catches.
I was following along in the service manual when I pulled mine,
and if the service manual had just said push up FROM THE TRUNK,
it would have been so easy. I've always wondered if this is
something that got lost in the translation of the manuals from
german to english.
