Do you know if that info was authored by Eliot Lim or someone else?
 It's an interesting read- if the info is correct, then I'm surprised that
the M1 0W40 is such a marginal grade- it is one of the only grades that has
the VW certification. When I had the 1.8T, that was really the only oil we
used in the car and the engine was very clean internally.
 Is the M1 SUV formula a 15W50 weight or 5W40? On Mobil's site, the Mobil 1
Truck&SUV formula is only listed in a 5W40 weight. Heck, if the spec is
better than the 10W30 and it's available in big jugs at Wal-Mart, I'm going
to buy some and run that in our cars. The only oil I see that meets the
specs mentioned in your post is the Extended Performance 15W50.
