[s-cars] WAS gas prices, now racist subaru's

The day that Subaru can field a competition car as successful and
revolutionary as the A2 Ur-q or the R8, then I'll start to consider them a
competitor to Audi. Until then, the only place you'll see Subie's on my
property is on the WRC DVD's playing on my TV...

Agreed, my S4 is by far the most comfortable car i've owned. Even my wifes
new Allroad doesn't have the same feel. However, I feel we are judging
Audi's that are a different breed that the run of the mill A6/A4 etc. The
trick is to take both manufacturers as a whole and compare differences. All
companies are going to have their lemon cars within a particular model range
or even time frame. Just look at the current state of the early 90's V8q's.
Fact is, subaru is a worthy competitor in the AWD vehicle market, for their
current price range. It will be interesting to see if the new A3 takes a
bite out of their sales. But Audi is in a class by itself when it comes to
stepping up.
