Sure you can, they are both rattle-traps! ;-) However, you can't compare
an A6 to the 2.5GT. Two totally different cars. Further from the comparo would
be my wifes Allroad against any legacy wagon. I've been in both, again, no comparison.

  Calvin-
My Subaru's windows don't have any leaking or wind noise issues even at 130+.

  You can't compare a '05 Subaru to a '72 Firebird.

I guess considering that two of our cars have manual seats, I don't really understand the
need for memory seats. The only time I really like having seat memory is when there are
a million adjustments for the seat- the D3 chassis A8 has 22 different adjustments to the
seat, mirrors and steering column- that is very nice to get set correctly and be able to repeat
without trial-and-error. That said, having 10 different adjustments just for the seat can make
the seat really fit nearly perfectly.

I drove a 2.5GT recently in the Subaru line and I must say I was reasonably
impressed vs. my A6 2.7T Sport. Tighter handling, and VERY comparable
power. So shy didn't we get one....well there are two main reasons. What's
up with the no rims around the windows thing? This is acceptable in my '72
Firebird, but some on Subaru, this is NOT the 70's. We don't need windows
that leak after a couple of years of rubber wear. The second deal killer
was the lack of memory seating...sounds silly but since my wife is 5'0" and
I'm 5'10" this feature really makes it a pain in the butt! If they correct
those two problems I am more than willing to give them a shot. They
couldn't have any more problems by 38k miles than my '01 A6 has had!
