FWIW

Installed Sony HCB30 bluetooth hands free yesterday. Works great. Only
about $50 via ebay.

New wires can be easily run to utilize the oem phone speaker. I located the
unit out of site under the shelf that's below the ashtray and between the
insulation above the transmission and below the shelf. Shift boot frame
lifts out from the rear. Switched and unswitched power and ground pulled
easily from power strip under the driver side lower dash. Volume and on/off
hook control I just stuck to the left of the hvac controls.

While there I finally uninstalled oem phone and now have more storage space
for something.

I learned that the armrest is attached to the driver seat via only one allen
screw hidden behind a little black rubber plug in the armrest. Tightened it
up and it's like new.

Anyone want an old analog phone?
