Sounds more and more like the ignition switch. For some inexplicable reason
(to me at least) it’s impending total failure symptoms are a bunch of flakey
electrical manifestations. HVAC in my case in particular I coulda had some
turn signal issues but I cannot recall totally, but I seem to remember
something like that.
Long story short, if it's never been done that you know of, change it for
sure. Why?
Because whenst it does go it will take the starter motor with it. Btdt:(
That’s another US$150 just for the part and another possible tow.
At least make sure after starting the car that the cylinder (or your key)
comes back to the proper run position until this is changed.
The install should be probably easier than this relay you changed.
Always remember that when the car returns to running again, it is awesome.

Subject: Now turn signal problems from Saskatchewan !

Hi Bill,

Just came in from wrestling with replacing a new relay in the inner sanctum
of das stinking dash.  Got it out of it's uboat like grip, put a new relay
in and voila, no difference !!... now it only took me an hour of prying,
tweaking, poking to get that thing back in the clip.  Wow, the satisfaction
of a job poorly done.

I give, back to my oh so helpful dealer .... I think I will take your
advice Bill and try the switch, funny how the right side and flashers work,
how is that?  How does the ignition switch control the signal indicator, is
it a voltage problem to the relay.  The relay I replaced ( albeit in vain,
the next guy will thank me) was definitely buzzing.  FWIW, that is a little
bitch to get in and out, probably easier with the whole dash off instead of
just the access panel below the wheel..... need the hands of 4 yr. old.

thanks Bill...I'll keep you informed. I know, look outside, hardly any
corners to turn.  You know, I have had some wierd things happen to my fan
switch, there are times when it won't increase of decrease, seems really
sluggish, same with the temperature.... kripe, I'm fallin apart!

ps., in the process of registering my business email for the list, can you
please forward to the guys, thanks.
