 Matt, I'm sorry to have made you nearly wet yourself. ;)
 I had a VERY early S6 sedan a while back, came with the 5 spoke wheels and 
the 4 spoke steering wheel. It had the proconten bracket and cables and did 
not have the explosive tensioners. But, it had had the transmission replaced 
under warranty when it was only a couple years old, long before I owned it, 
so maybe the dealership did something funky to it.
