Thanks to all who replied.

Visited my local VW/Audi wrench who GAVE me 4 locking bolts and advised I
only need to remove the calliper housing. I did find  one of the guide pin
boots had leaked all its grease so I re-packed it till I can get to the
dealer in the week.

Can tell the difference with the new pads - used PBR ceramic on Zimmerman
discs.
