[s-cars] Bilstein Sports Installed

Mark,
I think what you are asking is if you move the top strut mount 4mm how
much does this change the camber? I am interested in this as well as I
need to do some more drilling and slotting of holes. Or do I take it
back apart and do the Igor mod again - strut mount is looking like a
piece of swiss cheese!!

I think you could easily test this yourself by simply moving the top
mount 4mm inward (or any know distance and direction for that matter)
and measure camber before and after. This would give you the delta for
a 4mm change. I should probably do this since my alignment is a screwed
up anyway.

When doing the Igor mod I should have done the most offset possible (not
sure what this number is though) this way I would hopefully have some
additional adjustment for future wear if needed. If you do the max
offset allowed by the Igor mod then you will always have enough
adjustment in the negative camber direction so why not go as far as
possible in the positive camber direction.

All I know is that my ECS plates are almost maxed out. Doesn't
sound to me
like 4 mm will do it. Same spring, shock combo.

Regarding the "Igor Offset", I too have a question on
that specific area.
After extending the slot on the camber plates I am still
at -1.3. I need to
pull her apart and do the Igor mod but want to ensure
that 4mm offset is
enough to get me in and around -0.50. Given our
geometry with
		Bilstein/Eibach set-up, what does a 4mm move translate
to in degrees?

If'n nobody knows, can someone perhaps illuminate just
how I could make that
		determination myself?

		All,
		Thanks for the help.

I got my car put back together last night although still
need to do an
alignment. I am going to do a homebrew alignment to get
it close. I am
using a set of those laser levels to shoot laser dot
onto wall. We will
		see how it works.

Anyway I still don't have enough camber adjustment on
right side even
after doing the Igor 4mm offset - should have done 5 or
6 mm offset??
As far a drop I have right at 362mm rear and 368mm
drivers front and
380mm pass front. The front right is almost 0.5inch
higher than front
left?? Not sure what is going on there. It looks like
I will need the
10mm spacer after all. Anyone know what could cause the
front right to
		be so high?
