[s-cars] 2B Camber Plate Group Buy - Initial Interest Poll

Point taken. I'm sure the 2Bennet solution works as designed. I was just surprised at the cost.

My apologies to anyone on the list that might have been offended -- sometimes I get a little carried away.

  Far from it.

2Bennett actually has a business to run, imagine that! Employees and suppliers to pay, not to mention R&D cost to get something that fits nicely, bolts right in and gets you the adjustment you need to not chew up tires. I will gladly pay for someone to go through the R&D so that I don't have to cut and re-cut and try all over again just to get something that's hacked in the corner of my garage rather than a nice billet piece that was CNC'd.

If you can make it on your own, fine. Do it. Up to this moment, no one has come up with a better alignment solution than the 2B boys and I don't think you can do better than what they have by making something in your garage.

Let that be your motivation to prove me wrong, but I wouldn't risk my ass on the road at 100+mph with something I hacked together in my garage versus someone's $600 engineered solution.

  Joe

But they are toooo expensive. don't you think? They are metal plates
with holes drilled in them for 400+.

I can make those in my garage ( in probably will) for free).

    Am I way off here?

Maybe the group price brings it down but I think Mr. 2-Bennet is ripping us
off -- and doing a good job of it.
