[s-cars] Track timing systems/data loggers? GPS

Any S-list experience with, comments on or recommendations re: track timing
systems/data loggers?

Recently I've been giving more consideration to acquiring some kind of more
sophisticated performance measurement device than just the seat of Pizzo's
pants  :-).

Has anyone had any particular experience or advice with some of the newer
and (relatively) more affordable GPS data logger timing systems?  I'm
thinking/looking in particular at:

www.traqmate.com - ? mfg/backer


www.g2extreem.com - mfg RacePak out of California, also www.racepak.com

Race Technology's DL1 ~ ;

and/or possibly the AIM mxl (3 versions) line.
