[s-cars] Brake Pads

Gents,
    Currently running ECS Stage II Kit (993 calipers, A8 Rotors, and
Porterfield R4-S Pads)  The R4-S pads are getting a bit thin and time to
swap out.  I have a set of Mintex Red Box on the shelf...that were used
for maybe 100 miles before I went w/ the more aggressive Porterfield's.

 
Is it ok to put on the Mintex pads without turning the rotors?  Or
should I just pony up and get another set of R4-S pads?
