I don't know anything about drag racing either.  But my tests will be limited to the setup I use every day on the street.  No tire changes... no high octane, etc...
 
Of course, I could rationalize a better clutch down the road.

for that matter, drop down in diameter and get a bit of wheel spin ??
May save the clutch and help prevent the engine form the dreaded bog...

You could go up in ratio to a 50 or even 60 series...

But then again, I don't know much about drag racing, cept ofcourse in 
Toronto
