[s-cars] 1.8t Coil Pack Conversion - Separate forum?

I'm very intersted in pursuing this Forgieversion (tm). However, isn't this
forum all about this kind of thing? All we need is a place to post pictures.
Yahoo offers this, as does, apparently, the Audifans Knowledge base. If we
keep the "1.8t Coil Pack Conversion" in the subject line, it gets Real Easy
to stay on top of, plus new members get to learn this part of the secret
handshake. Kind of like a FMIC, the HRSB, group buys, etc. The only missing
link is archive searching. I do that now by saving every message on my hard
drive, and searching locally.
Rather than splintering this off, let's keep it mainstream. I'd much prefer
to hear about this sort of open source program here, rather than some of the
drivel that frequently clogs this list. I can freely say this, as I am a
constant source of cloggage/drivel <g>. Just ask my friend(s). If you can
find any.
The only downside I can see here is pissing off the Audi Gods by presuming
to "improve" on the original design. OTOH, if that were throwing down the
gauntlet, most of us would have felt the wrath of the Audi Gods. Come to
think of it, I guess we all have, to one level or another...
Bottom line is I'm very interested in staying on top of this, and will
subscribe to another forum if necessary, but would prefer if this discussion
stayed here.

Subject: [s-cars] 1.8t Coil Pack Conversion - Separate forum?
How many people would be interested in a separate forum (on AudiWorld so
photos can be posted) for the 1.8t coil pack conversions? There are a
few people interested in trying it. One guy has been in contact with me and
has just completed the conversion without any instructions (but he did some
things I did not think were possible).
I want to be able to share solutions, results, trouble shooting, etc.
without boring those that aren't interested. I am going to ask the
AudiWorld Mods about a new forum but I was wondering whether there would be
any/enough interest.
