LOL.... Thanks to everyone for the suggestions...!  Now I'm glad I threw in that comment about the smell in my car...! I  vacuumed out the trunk and interior yesterday, took out my winter mats  (yessssss, always a good feeling!) and sprayed some Febreze in there,  since I had that handy. I'll give it a day or two and see what happens  before I go to the coffee grounds and charcoal route.... Oh, and I  neglected to mention that I had left my sunroof W-I-D-E open (not  tilted) the same night while we had a brief shower, so some of the  smell may be related to damp carpets.
