Subject: [s-cars] Eibach conundrum...

S-fans....
Sometime ago, I had decided on Eibach springs top go with the Koni's I
already have. I then saved up for the 2B camber plates, and new bushings to
the job right. Last week, I put the new Boleros on with new 255/40-17
rubber - which are the exact size this car should have. Thank you list for
that call! However, the new lower profile tires make the fender gap look
even more ridiculous.
So I go to buy the Eibachs - Ta da! NLA. Shox.com sold their last 1549.140's
in 11/2005. An internet search yielded little - although there is one
reseller on ebay that says he has five sets. Check all his other Pro Kit
auctions - they have five sets available as well. So this is probably
nothing more than bait. Over on German ebay, I find like six different
Eibach Pro-Kits for the C4 limousine. 1515.140's, 1516's....WTF?
I really do not want to go HR as I think they will be too stiff. 92 Ur
springs may be an option, but they are softer than the Eibach's. I went
coilovers on my 4KQ with great success, but I really did not want to go that
far with this car. Is this going to be my only option?
Opinions, advice, appreciated as always.
Regards,
