[s-cars] Suspension/steering stiffness question

List,

I'm about ready to overhaul suspension on my 93' UrS4

Currently car has 133k miles and PO installed Bilstein SP + H&R at around 75k.
My feeling is that shocks already done. Also, I don't like current stiffness.

1. To me it's too harsh and I don't see this benefiting handling. It almost feels like wheels disconnect from the pavement on a
bumpy road when I go into tight turns.

However, I like ride height and hate to raise a car since it will look silly with my 17" RS4 style wheels.

So... What do you suggest for suspension components? I like firm but soft ride. Not too much body roll but without go kart feeling.
Different springs? Shocks?

2. What is the symptoms of bad steering dumpner? My car feels like it wants to turn left.

3. I have exactly same clunk as Igor Kessel described few days ago. Left turn, slight acceleration - sounds like CV Joint popping out :)

4. Car pulls hard to the left on hard braking. It's got to be suspension as I rebuilt rear calipers and replaced front/rear discs/pads. Wear is normal, everything working ok.

I'm planning to go ahead and replace all rubber pieces I find in suspension + shocks + tie rod ends + rear links.

Any advices/suggestions?

Thanks,
Ivan
