Actually it's the other way round, Eric. You need to shave 1mm off the 
RS2 bracket in order to center the rotor.

I understand that this is also not a problem, because the

The pistons will, but not the carrier bracket.

But not the weight of these boat anchors. It's atrocious.
That and their propensity to warpage if overheated. I must have shaved 
my right one 2 or 3 times already. Granted, it was a bad casting (see my 
lengthy bitching ca. 2002 in the archives) but still...
