Just wondering if any of you guys have ever used eMachineshop. It looks like something that would be useful to the S-car crowd or older car enthusiasts in general. If you're not familiar with it, it's a company that has a free CAD program that you can download, and then they do the milling/stamping/laser engraving/whatever for the designs you create. Like that plastic coolant part that is a common failure on our cars, we could design an aluminum one and then get them made in bulk and benefit from the reduction in unit cost. We'd be basically creating our own group buys for products we designed.
Just a thought. I'm not affiliated with the company, blah blah blah. If I have an angle it's that I wish I could get some instruction on the CAD software. If this is yet another rehashed topic, my apologies.
