Funny you should mention this, guys, today right after not even two
hours ago I met head on a brand new Alfa of an unseen model on Rt 202 in
PA of all places. I wanted to U-turn and chase it to take a closer look,
but a 1 m tall concrete divider instilled some doubt in me as to
whether my 9 y/o UrS6 was capable of ramming through it, thus I gave up.
Regretfully I might add... Alfa... my second love that never
materialised. There is something about the Italians and the way they
build cars... and furniture... and make clothing... and shoes... and
just about everything else... Sometimes I feel they come into this world
already with an impeccable taste and the sense of balance. But I digress.

That Alfa sported what appeared to be an Italian rear licence plate:
black font over the narrow white field yet it was much shorter than the
rest of the European plates. It looks like Alfa is serious about the
comeback. I am keeping the fingers crossed.
