In the way of an update, I took it to the closest Audi dealer,
Maplewood Audi in the Twin Cities. They were very nice and helpful -
charged me the minimun shop time segment, determined that it was the
motor/regulator combo that was bad, pulled the motor, raised the
window, stuck motor back in.
I asked for a P/N for the part and was given 4A0 959 801. The FA
lists this as the "window lift motor". Does anyone know if that P/N
includes the regulator as well?
Chris Semple - do you know?
Any hoo, I am good to hit the road now. Window is up (inoperable, but
up). Just need to figure what part to order as a replacement.
