Hold the phone here. There should/might be a simpler way.
If the Pole Position is set up the same way as an old Recaro racing
bucket I have, it is flat bottomed and mounts to whatever bracket it
uses via 4 bolts coming up through the bracket. The factory Recaro
seats in our cars mount the exact same way to the power adjustment
bracketry from what I've seen. So, you should be able to just unbolt
the factory seat and bolt in the racing seat, assuming the bolt pattern
is the same, which I would think it would be. You'll have to disconnect
the harness leading to the rear back rest motor and the heated seats,
and you may have to modify the side trim piece that holds the switches
but that's about it. Maybe you can find a cheap worn drivers seat that
you can gut for the mounting base so you can always put your stock seat
back in if need be
