[s-cars] power mirrors inoperative - ideas?

Chris,

I don't have any helpful suggestions. Sorry.

Pulling the door panels and carrier assembly (window components) are
more familiar to me than I would like. When I last did it (two weeks
ago), my driver's side window decided to stay in the down position as
I headed into a car wash. Score one for the cynical Audi gods. I had
to pull the window motor, manually raise the window, and stick the
motor back in, freezing the window in the "up" position.

A couple of days ago, I decided to see if the curse of the gods had
worn off. Bingo. Window works fine, except now I live in paranoid
fear of lowering the window and not having it go back up.

Damn these cars.
