Thanks to all the organizers that helped make my first S-Fest an experience to remember (Paulie, Posto, Bob R, Jim, Steve and Bob Saas (thanks for cookin') and of course Bys for the location.
1. RBF's (Raunchy Beer Farts) are an evil thing when camping out in a buttoned up Avant. I think I'm going to have to clean the leather again, that was just nasty. I'm surprised I didn't pass out.
2. Great to put faces to all the people on the list.
3. Pizzo could get a second job as a lighthouse with that 5 billion candle powered rechargeable light.
4. Steve Young has an engine compartment that is beautiful and spotless, well except for that serpentine belt tensioner bracket, really Steve, you should be ashamed.
5. Seeing a good number of similar cars in one spot was worth the drive over the mess that is George Washington Bridge traffic.
6. Chef Bob's cooking was much appreciated and it was cool to see his trick brake project on display, looks very nice.
7. I don't recommend arriving for your first S-Fest in the dark, that pretty much sucked.(Gotta buy a better map, but still, it's hard to see in the dark.
8. Keith M had some surprising liscense plates (I'm sure folks will post pictures).
9. Fixing Stuff - it was interesting to watch Marc S convert from the stock ignition to the 034 kit in 15 minutes, as well as watching him and others trouble shoot problems on other S-Festers cars.
10. Moonshine - Be very Afraid.
