[s-cars] Photos of damaged S4

I would get good photos from each corner of the car to insure i had good
documentation of the damage, and make a list of the upgrades on the car.
You may be able to get the insurance company to let you retain the
car in
the deal without a salvage title report while paying the full damage
estimate.

I think it is time to make a decision matrix to help you decide what
value to
place on each option, ie, what are the RS2 upgrades and spares worth to
you to install on the other URS4?, add that to the insurance payoff
for an
acceptable value for your car, can you get a better clean payoff?,
can you
sue to recover damages for faulty parts or installation?, are you
liable for
damages from the mishap? Just get it all down so you make the best
decision.

I don't think there is an insurance repair option. If they take that
route, then they
will be stuck with the cost escalation and unknown damage that is
always present
in any repair, with very little margin to work with, meaning very
little incentive to
take that risk. This is almost a certainty because the adjusters see
so few of these
cars that the estimating tools are usually A6/100 based and the pile
of unique small
parts hit them like an avalanche in the supplementary damage report.
You have to
factor in the quality of the repair job you will get as well.

> Hopefully the insurance company won't argue and will repair it.
