Recently had my parking brake stick in 20F weather and did some research on
it, aka sticking rear caliper, cables and such. Got me thinking, does
anybody know of an improved/newer rear caliper that would be less seizure
prone? I am thinking along the lines like the VW Mk2 Golf guys using the
Mk4 caliper:

Did a very brief search and it seems like the only other Audi that uses 10.6
rear rotors is the 2000-2003? A8L. Anybody that is Audi parts savy care to
investigate further ( if worthwile)? The A8 caliper is more expensive but if
it doesn't seize might be worth it.
