[s-cars] Confirmed: Braided brake lines don't age well

so what happened? did the line start leaking or did it abruptly fail?
what was the cause of the failure? braided steel hoses are far less
tolerant of abuse than rubber hoses. they don't stand up well to
stretching, kinking, or pinching.
