At least the first guy used the name Goren Ericksson so he at least
sounded Swedish.

I might be out there at about the same time, in Arvidsjaur, only about
60km or so south of Arjeplog.   Last time I tried to speak swedish, we
ended up telling the waitress she had nice hams..
