The S8 is sooooo much nicer than the S6, though. Much larger car, much
wider,
huge trunk, more legroom.

I haven't driven a D2 S8, but got a ride in one- seriously fun car in the
hands of a
pro driver- I wanted him to push the car harder, maybe really get the thing
sideways,
but I think the other passengers would have puked.

Having driven extensively the generation after, you can really hustle these
cars around-
the D3 A8 drives a whole lot better than a C6 A6. Hustle hard enough that
you end up
outdriving the bixenons. :-)
