Bob:  Jumping in here late (but I was there on the previous round(s)). 
Chris asked you about the fuel pump relay, the J17, on the relay bus
under the drivers side knee bolster.  I didn't see your response.  For
the cost of the relay,  I would replace it. It could be failing
intermittently and giving you all the symptoms you have described.
