[s-cars] Quick Tyre Fitment Question

i have to agree. these audis are terrific in the snow. i have
225/50/16 BFG g-force KDWS M+S all-season tires on the stock wheels.
i drove my '92 S4 to tahoe a bunch of times last winter, and i'm
amazed at how well it works in the snow. my first indication of how
well it worked in the snow was driving through a snowstorm with no
problems at all. my next indication was driving up a steep unplowed
hill on the way to the cabin. i stalled the car a couple of times
before i realized it needed more gas because the snow was up to the
bumper.

i'd like to get wider rubber, but it's hard to find wide rubber in
16" these days, and it would compromise snow traction. maybe i'll
get a set of 17" wheels with 255/40/17 for the summer, and put
the 16" BFGs on for the winter.
