I didn't know you were going to buy a new flywheel. I figured you would
have you old dual mass flywheel resurfaced. I don't think anyone will
contest that having a dual mass flywheel for a daily driver is much
lower on the jerk-o-meter than a solid flywheel and an un-sprung clutch
disc. There is no give in the latter setup. A fun car on the track is
an annoying car to drive to work.

Trying to line up parts for a clutch replacement/6 speed upgrade.
Its been suggessted that I replace the flywheel with one from a
1991 Audi 200 20v, supposedly it'll save weight providing more power,
and is mucho cheaper than a new Audi dual mass one.
I've asked a couple gentz on this list their thoughts and have
received conflicting input....go figure.
Wondering if anyone has any experience going this route, and what
the general consensus of the list is.
