I can understand your comments... but I tend to disagree.  When I was running a lightweight flywheel with a centerforce clutch (the one that is organic on one side), it was virtually indistinguishable from a stock setup... other than revving freely, and starting from a standstill much easier.  I drive this car every day, and it's a baby to deal with.
 
My Spec clutch, however, is different.  It still isn't bothersome, but is certainly less forgiving of sloppy clutch work... it's grabby.
 
I've got 40k+ miles of everyday use on this setup over the past 15 months, and still think it is perfectly acceptable for a daily driver.  But that's just me.

I didn't know you were going to buy a new flywheel.  I figured you would
have you old dual mass flywheel resurfaced.  I don't think anyone will
contest that having a dual mass flywheel for a daily driver is much
lower on the jerk-o-meter than a solid flywheel and an un-sprung clutch
disc.  There is no give in the latter setup.  A fun car on the track is
an annoying car to drive to work.
