I just purchased on Audifans a Gen.I  Stromung exhaust  with 3" DP ,Test
pipe,And Cats for $800 shipped...UPS tracking says it will be here
tomorrow ...will give my $.02 on friday about droning and then taking it
from Delaware to Princeton,NJ on sunday via the NJ tunpike will have a
real chance to hear it at all speeds.....How much change between
generations????............ Cheers

I can tell you ALL about droning Stromung exhausts, Rich. 
You're in for a noisy ride (at 3000 rpm) with that Gen #1 Stromung.

Gen #1 (originally TAP) drones badly, known attempts to quiet this down
never really satisfied, most require a new rear section OR a lot of
Component substitution. That's the reson I got involved.

After testing several resonators Borla, Magnaflow, etc.. Nothing worked.
My daughter labeled the S4 (in that time) the Boom car!
Adults would not ride in the backseat

Gen #2, #3, #4: Flat audio response, no drone. Reason- Stromung
developed a large rear muffler which is the solution
Auditory improvement, dramtatic. Due to the customer Stromung muffler.


Gen #4: Added quick taper downpipe, stainless flanges,  no drone as Gen
#4 uses the large rear muffler built by Stromung.
