[s-cars] Rear brake saga - will the questions *never* end?

OK, car is up, wheels off, PB Blaster sprayed on fasteners.

Lines come off of calipers just fine (14mm flare wrench, BTW).

Start looking at flex line to hard line connection.  Hmmm.  Some clip
thing holding a fitting, looks like the hard line is a male going into
female flex line fitting, and that fitting is captured in some sort of
clip arrangement fixed to the body right behind the wheel well. 
Before I go all nuts with wrenches, and since I *still* don't have the
damn new lines (story there), which part of that fitting belongs to
the flex line, and which part to the hard line - my flare wrench
doesn't get onto the part toward the wheel well.
