[s-cars] Rear brake saga - will the questions *never* end?

On on-going saga - goes on. :)
I finally figured out the clip arrangement that captures the flex hose
to the hard line. It's kinda dumb in execution, but it does keep the
flex line in place, and puts no strain on the hard line. Mostly, I
don't like the way the thing was set up such that I had to bend the
hell out of the clip in order to get my wrench on the flex line. Now,
when I put it all back together, I have to rebend that clip. But,
since the flex lines are probably the ones that came with the car as
it rolled out of the factory, I guess the system worked fine.
My mechanic said copper grease (anti seize) is probably overkill for
the allen bolts that hold the carrier to the hub. A small shot of PB
Blaster, he says, slap it together. :)
He also suggested that since this car originally came from Colorado,
that there was more potential for corrosion. Hmmm. They salt the
roads there? Even in Boulder?
Anyway, this rear brake job has been a voyage of discovery, and it's
going to be highly instructive for my front brake upgrade.
Many thanks (again) for all the help.
Eric
