[s-cars] Boost Gauge Install

Brian:

I recommend tapping in at the moisture trap at the firewall rather than
the by the ECU. Its much easier to route the tubing from there through a
grommet on the firewall in the driver's footwell and up to the A-pillar.

The T-connector you need has 2 barbs on each end and a threaded NPT in
the middle to match the autometer tubing kit. I think you also need a
male-to-male NPT adapter as well. I bought my t-connector from McMaster
Carr, but you need to buy a minimum of 10.

McMaster also sells nice clamshell screw clamps made of stainless steel
in various sizes. Much better than a radiator gear clamp. Or if you want
to be fancy and OEM, use the crimp-on style made by Oetiker.

The moisture trap is behind the black plastic cover on the firewall,
follow the rubber tubing from the fuel pressure regulator.
