[s-cars] Intermittent no start

I thought your mail would be flooded by now, Ron, since, yes, the  
symptoms are
classic for a CPS failure that starts out intermittent and at some  
point quits altogether.
Check those codes for the engine.  If you have just one, a 2113 blink  
code or 00515
camshaft position sensor on the VAG-COM, then you need a sensor  
change.  If the
timing belt is recent the sensor can be changed without disturbing  
the timing.
