[s-cars] Intermittent no start

there was some discussion about the CPS recently, and somebody suggested
that it should be changed when doing a timing belt. but there was
also some gnashing of teeth about the cost of the CPS.
there were various posts about alternatives but i'm not sure if a
clear consensus emerged. what's the list wisdom on the CPS to use?
